The Boulder Mid-Century Project was created as a part of the inaugural Animal Welfare Practicum taught by Professors Steven Silverman and Mason Liddell at the University of Colorado Law School. The goal of the BMCP is to collaborate with law students, lawyers, and experts to create a reservoir of progressive legislation that activists across the country can use as the basis for laws that better protect animals at the state and local levels. In other words, we're creating a legal vision for how society can and should protect animals by 2050.Â
The BMCP is small at the moment, but we plan to keep expanding it. If you are interested in contributing to the database, please reach out to us at contact@animalcounsel.
